    Pomace Olive Oil. (PICUAL - Max acidity 1%)

    Ingredients: Refined Olive Oil 90% by weight and Extra Virgin Olive Oil 10% by weight. Edible Grade. Superior Quality Olive Oil is obtained through grinding and extracting the oil by purely mechanical cold process (Under 25°C) of olive fruits grown without the use of synthetic chemicals / pesticides.

    Description: After olives are picked and washed, they're crushed sometimes between two big stones, but now more commonly by steel blades. The resulting paste is stirred to release the oil droplets in a process called maceration, before being spun in a centrifuge to pull out the oil and water. After the water is removed, what is left is olive oil.

    Picual extra virgin olive oil has an acid concentration that does not exceed 1%. It has a strong fruity flavor and has an intense green color, unlike other oils that look like liquid gold.

    To begin with, an olive oil should never exceed 2% acidity, and if it does, that oil should not be on the market as it is not healthy.
